How UrgentHomePro works
UrgentHomePro connects people with an urgent home problem to independent local professionals. We don't perform repairs, and we don't employ the providers in the network.
- 1
Describe what's happening
Pick the problem in plain language — water through the ceiling, sewage backing up, no hot water — and add your ZIP code. It takes under a minute and there's nothing to install.
- 2
We route your request
Your request is matched against independent providers who cover your ZIP code and handle that type of work, weighted by how urgent it is and what time it is.
- 3
A local pro contacts you
The matched provider reaches out directly by phone, text or email using the contact details you supplied, and discusses scope, timing and pricing with you.
- 4
You decide
You are never obligated to hire anyone. Ask for the license number, confirm the price before work starts, and get the scope in writing.
Frequently asked questions
Does UrgentHomePro perform the repair?
No. UrgentHomePro is a matching platform. All work is performed by independent providers who set their own pricing, warranties and service terms.
Does it cost anything to submit a request?
Submitting a request through UrgentHomePro is free for consumers. The provider quotes you directly for any work performed.
How many providers will contact me?
For emergency plumbing requests in our launch market we route to a single matched provider so you are not fielding calls during a flood. If they cannot take the job, we route it onward.
What happens with my contact information?
It is shared with the provider matched to your request so they can contact you about that request, exactly as described in the consent statement on the form and in our Privacy Policy.
Can I request a non-emergency job?
Yes. Choose 'This week' as your timing and the request is routed for scheduled work rather than an after-hours call-out.
