Reviews and homeowner feedback
UrgentHomePro publishes only real reviews submitted by people who used the service. We do not buy reviews, generate them, or offer anything in exchange for a positive one. Every submission is read by a person before it appears here, and we publish critical feedback alongside positive feedback.
What a review on this page represents
Reviews here describe one of two different things, and we never blend them. A review of UrgentHomePro is about the platform itself: whether the request form was clear, whether the problem was routed to somebody who covered the ZIP code, how quickly contact happened, and whether we were honest when no professional was available. A review of a provider describes an independent business a homeowner was matched with — a company UrgentHomePro does not own, employ, supervise, license or price. How the matching process works explains where our role ends and theirs begins.
Because of that split, nothing on this page should be read as a rating of the trade work itself. Quality, workmanship, warranty and price are agreed between the homeowner and the independent professional, and the license behind that work belongs to them. You can verify any Florida contractor yourself on the state DBPR license register.
How feedback is collected
Every review published here arrives through the form at the bottom of this page. We do not import reviews from third-party sites, we do not syndicate them from provider profiles, we do not solicit them through paid panels, and we offer nothing — no discount, no gift, no priority routing — in exchange for writing one. We also do not write reviews ourselves, and we do not use generated text to fill an empty page.
Submissions are optional and unprompted. That keeps volume low, and we would rather show a short honest page than a long manufactured one.
Moderation and verification standards we actually apply
These are the checks we really run. We are describing them precisely so nobody reads more assurance into them than exists.
- Human review before publication. Nothing appears automatically. A person reads each submission and decides whether it is publishable.
- Spam and abuse screening. We reject submissions that are promotional, abusive, defamatory, off-topic, or submitted through automated form filling.
- Personal information removal. Addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and other identifying details are removed before publication. Contact details you give us are used only to follow up with you, never displayed.
- No screening for sentiment. Negative reviews are held to the same standard as positive ones. We do not delay, bury, or decline a review because it is critical.
- What we do not verify. We do not independently confirm that every reviewer used the service, and we do not verify claims made about a provider's work. Where a review references a request we can identify, we may check it against our own records — that is the limit, and we will not describe it as more than it is.
- No aggregate rating. We publish no star average, no review count headline and no rating structured data, because there is not yet a body of reviews large enough for an average to mean anything.
How we handle a complaint
- Problems with a match are handled by us. If nobody contacted you, the wrong trade was routed, or the request went to an area we do not cover, tell us through Contact and we will look at the routing record behind it.
- Disputes about the work itself are between you and the provider. We can pass a complaint on, but we cannot arbitrate scope, price, warranty or workmanship, because we are not a party to that agreement. For a licensed trade, the state licensing board is the route for a formal complaint.
- Corrections. If something we published is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it — the standard we hold ourselves to is set out in our editorial standards, and the same people apply it to our research work.
- Removal requests. A reviewer can ask us to take their own review down at any time and we will, without asking why. A provider cannot have a review removed for being unflattering.

Honest feedback only — good or bad. Nothing is published automatically, and we never offer incentives for a review.
